On a mission to equip all Maine fire/rescue departments with POMs (pet oxygen masks).
Since May of 2009, Bobby Silcott has been on a mission. His mission, to help equip local fire/rescue organizations statewide, with Pet Oxygen Masks (POM) designed for most companion animals. To do this Bobby received the necessary education to qualify him to teach Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR. Bobby has volunteered his time, so proceeds from these classes have gone toward the purchase of these much needed masks. The cost to take the class is $80 p/p prepaid and includes a book and certificate. We welcome the help of any individual, business, community group etc... in raising funds for the project.
A set of POMs costs $100.00 including shipping and handling. A set includes a small, medium and large mask. We strive to hand deliver the sets of POMs to local fire and rescues so that we can teach them the proper use of the mask. If you are interested in donating a set of POMs for your fire or rescue department, please feel free to call Bobby at 207-595-5644.
Please contact us if you would like to attend or host a class.
